HOW TO INSTALLHow to install
- 01Download the patch
Download the Arabic patch from the direct GitHub download link. The installer is about 12 MB, and a manual ZIP version is available if you do not want to run an executable file.
- 02Close the game
Make sure Static Dread: The Lighthouse is fully closed before installing.
- 03Run the installer
Open the installer. It will try to detect the Steam folder automatically; if it cannot, choose the game folder manually.

Click install. The installer checks the game files, creates a backup, writes the Arabic files, and verifies them afterward.
- 05Select Arabic
Launch the game and select Arabic from the language menu if it is not enabled automatically.

Static Dread: The Lighthouse is a narrative horror simulation game where you play as a lighthouse keeper on an isolated island. Your job is to guide ships by radio, check documents, and make difficult choices while cosmic horror closes in night after night.
This Arabic patch translates nearly all in-game text: character dialogue, radio calls, numbered choices, notes, documents, newspapers, sailing forms, ship and harbor names, call signs, achievements, menus, maps, and item names.
Arabic is added as a new language option and does not replace the original languages. Text is displayed right-to-left, letters connect correctly, and the Arabic font is included in the patch files with no extra software or font installation required.
The translation uses clear Arabic while preserving the game’s tension and mystery. Game, character, and place names are written in Arabic in the Arabic version, while codes, numbers, some language names, and brand names are kept as needed for puzzles and UI clarity.
The patch is intended only for the Steam PC version. It targets Hotfix 1.2.1 / Steam build 22243634, and may need an update if future game patches change the original files.
