HOW TO INSTALLHow to install
- 01Download the installer
Download the direct installer file from GitHub. It is about 72 MB.
StaticDreadSubmarine-Arabic-Installer.exe - 02Close the game
Make sure Static Dread: The Submarine is fully closed before installing.
Exit the game before installing - 03Run the installer
Open the installer. It will try to find the Steam game folder automatically; if it does not, select the folder manually.
Static Dread The Submarine.exe - 04Click Install
The installer verifies the game files, creates a backup, then installs the Arabic patch files.
Install - 05Select Arabic
Launch the game and choose Arabic from the language menu. Arabic appears in the ninth slot instead of Korean.
Settings > Language > 9. العربية - 06Restore if needed
If you want to go back to the original version, open the installer again and click Restore.

Static Dread: The Submarine is a Lovecraftian psychological horror game set aboard a claustrophobic military submarine in the depths of the North Atlantic. You act as the captain’s right hand: assign tasks, monitor sonar, and make hard calls while the crew faces madness and something worse below.
This patch translates every in-game text into Arabic. It covers 5,799 strings, including character dialogue, notes, reports, control panels, sonar readouts, crew management, menus, and the ending credits.
The Arabic text is written in a clear, readable style that fits the tense horror tone. Terminology is unified through a dedicated glossary, and Arabic is rendered right-to-left with connected letters and an embedded Arabic font.
Voice acting remains in English; the patch is text-only. Arabic replaces the Korean language slot because the game has no extra language slot, while the other languages remain unchanged.
The patch is made for the Steam PC version. The installer supports Windows 10 and Windows 11, checks the game files before installing, and creates backups so you can restore the original files.
